CONNECT YOUR CHANNEL

Go live with OBS in four steps.

  1. Get your assigned credentials.

Sign in to your client workspace and open Encoder credentials for the channel you manage. If credentials are missing, ask your client administrator to verify and save them from MediaCP's Live stream to service screen.

  2. Configure OBS.

Open Settings → Stream, select Custom, and paste the Server URL and Stream Key into their separate fields. Use RTMPS when supplied.

  3. Prepare your show.

Add your camera, microphone, media file or screen capture. Match your service's resolution, bitrate, codecs and keyframe requirements.

  4. Start and check playback.

Click Start Streaming, then open your StreamServer channel to verify picture and sound. Broadcast only to a channel assigned to you.
